"Winery: Ridge Score: 93
Wine: Geyserville Sonoma County 1996 Spectator Selection
Price: $25
Country: California
Region: Sonoma
Issue: Feb 28, 1999
This supple and harmonious Zinfandel blend opens with pretty, toasty oak, leading to spicy wild berry, cherry jam, plum and raspberry flavors that remain sharply focused on the long, lively finish. Drink now through 2004. 9,600 cases made. (JL)

"Don't remember what or with what I had this, but I'll tell this wine was terrible. Huge fruit bomb with no structure, I believe it was sweetish too. Just syrupy and no elegance."
