"My 1st aged vintage port (27yrs). Very nice, like an austere, refined, and complex LBV port. Ruby color w/ light edges. Austere nose, smooth and complex palate with background of light fruit. Cork was a task to get out, cork wet most of the way through. poured through a funnel, into decanter. 1/2 bottle drank over 2 days. 2nd 1/2 poured into empty 375ml bottle and will consume next week."

"A stalwart from the Symington stable, this has an inky black colour, and aroma of violets, and is loaded with blackberry fruit. The tannins and sweetness blend harmoniously to produce a structured wine that will last."
