"Surely the heavy-weight Smith and Hooper embossed bottle must cost a fair bit of money?
Crowd pleasing custardy oak blankets the blackcurrant, blackberry, dark chocolate and camphor flavours - there’s a flicker of green too but it’s not distracting. Mid-weight with an attractive earthiness and slightly chalky but fine tannin round off this easy drinking varietal wine. Good solid fare at the price.
