"A long-term McLaren Vale classic, with a deep, dark and spicy perfume of blackberries, cassis and smoked oyster-like oak overlying nuances of ginger and sage. Deep, dark and brooding, its sumptuous palate of profoundly intense fruit is neatly backed by a silky-smooth cut of tannin, finishing with a slightly salty tang of mineral. It should flesh out superbly over time."
