"Wonderfully fragrant nose of lychee fruit. On the palate, it was full-bodied and off-dry with a long finish. Great wine with some Munster sprinkled with cumin seeds."

"Beautifull golden colour, typical gewurztraminer nose of honey, slight spice toffee apples, lychees and roses, rich almost dry palate smooth fruit well balanced but fine plinth of acidity and minerals with medium finish . Tastes like the sight and smell of the Froehn hill. Excellent."

"From Becker in Zellenberg we just received new vintages of Froehn Muscat and Gewurztraminer. The Grand Cru Froehn Vineyard is directly behind the Domaine is south-south-east facing, fairly steep and sits on a bed of white limestone with some clay and schistous marl. It is a great site for both these aromatic varietals. "
