"There are slightly more than 1,000 cases of the 2008 Chardonnay Mon Plaisir. Dense and concentrated with lots of honeyed peach, marmalade, citrus oil, and apricot notes with underlying spice and subtle wood in the background, this wine possesses outstanding acidity, freshness, and depth. It should drink nicely for 7-8 years. (93-95)."

"Unctuous and layered, rich and creamy, showing opulent fig, melon and honeysuckle flavors that are full-blown and flow easily, with touches of ginger and honey. Complex, intense and persistent. Drink now through 2016. 1,100 cases made. –JL"

"Greenish gold. Tropical fruits, peach and dusty spices on the nose. Juicy and intensely flavored, with a strong note of toasty lees adding depth to the lively orange and pit fruit flavors. The brisk finish features a refreshingly bitter note of grapefruit pith and clings with very good smoky persistence."
