4 stars "Color: dark; Nose: complex; Acidity: lively; Sweetness: dry; Body: light-bodied; Finish: persistent; Overall: rich; Nose of earth, smoke, leather, black fruit & currants. Also some damp wood/oak - like a vineyard barrel room. Some spice, but not a ton and soft tannins give it an approachable amazing well-aged cab taste. "

90 points "Interesting aromas of minerals, raspberries, and spices. Full-bodied, with chewy tannins and a long mouthpuckering finish. It has the fruit concentration to back up the tannin structure. Best after 2007. 4,250 cases made." Best 2007-
