The nose is somewhat 'quiet' at present: undeveloped, with coconut/toasty American oak and rich fruit aromas. It's full-bodied, chewy and tannic, and needs time. There's tremendous concentration and fleshy density, in typical savoury Penfolds house style, and the whole thing has an endless finish. Cellar it, then serve with hard cheeses.
