The nose has intense aromas of cassis, plum and hints of the menthol and dried herbs that are typical of cabernet sauvignon. The palate is quite complex, offering a lot for this price point, with more cassis and plum fruit, as well as charred meat, roasted herbs and cedar that give some intense flavours and stand up nicely to the higher acidity and tannic structure."
