" Representative of the classic California-style Sauv Blanc, approximately 15% of the juice was barrel-fermented, with the balance cold-fermented in stainless steel tanks. Blended with 15% semillon for added complexity and body, this white shows aromas of white grapefruit and melon, followed by flavors of citrus, pears and a hint of nutmeg combined to produce a crisp and refreshing Sauvignon Blanc. According to the Wine Spectator: "Fragrant and intense, with crisp focus and good depth to lemon skin, grass and green apple notes. Food would soften the acidity, which lingers on the finish.
