"Kunanga Hill Shiraz/Cab is a more commercially acceptable Penfolds wine.By that I mean it does not carry the large amount of sediment that is normally associated with penfolds wines.
Grange has a huge amount of sediment and it is interesting that some Alfred's homestead customers that purchased Grange reported that they enjoyed the wine as well as the sediment - in other words for the price nothing was wasted. One gentleman used the Grange sediment to embellish his steak.
This vintage is 5 years old and more than ready for drinking. The Blend of shiraz and cabernet gives it a more palatable red wine flavour. You will certainly enjoy it with pasta or pizza.
