5 stars "Color: deep; Aromas: spicy, woody, black berry, dried fruit; Sweetness: dry; Finish: very persistent; Very bold and complex tastes. The pour presents a deep dark red hue that maintains to the edges of the liquid. The first scents are of dark French roast coffee beans and something more (earthiness?). Taste is quite different from anything I've ever had - so complex with fruits seeming to come in and out of your perception. Tannins are not overpowering, but they are there and taste is bold! This wine is not for the squeamish or those who prefer a mellow and subdued character. This is the epitome of my wine tasting experience. It's complexity and boldness are what make it pleasing."
