"One of Forman’s finest efforts to date, the 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon is a seamless classic boasting a dense purple color as well as a big, sweet, fragrant, almost floral nose (there must be a good bit of Cabernet Franc in the blend), medium to full body, and abundant quantities of black currants, licorice, tobacco leaf, and earth. The wood is well-concealed in this layered, multi-dimensional, surprisingly ripe, forward Cabernet. It should drink well for 15-20 years."
