"The 1997 Cabernet Sauvignon To-Kalon Reserve, made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, is a brilliant Cabernet Sauvignon that has a dark ruby/purple color, a gorgeously broad, complex nose of cedar, black fruits, new saddle leather, and mineral. In the mouth, it is full-bodied, showing slightly higher tannin and austerity than it did last year, but there is no doubt this wine has depth, multiple layers of flavor, an expansive texture, and a long, reassuring, concentrated finish. It needs 4-5 years of cellaring, and should age for at least 30+ years.
