"Color: dark; Nose: complex; Aromas: nutty, woody; Acidity: supple; Sweetness: medium dry; Body: full-bodied; Finish: medium; Overall: bold; Very full, earthy red with a nice nose and body, complete with a hickory finish. In our meal, it paired well with both a roasted pepper-based red sauce and a traditional alfredo sauce."
