"Color: bright; Nose: discreet; Acidity: supple; Body: medium-bodied; Finish: persistent; Overall: pleasant; Absolutely wonderful when paired with cheeses. The combination of the wine with the soft Epoisses cheese was heavenly and truly created a new flavor that did not exist with either one of the items by themselves. I had high hopes for this wine, but it fell a bit flat for my preferences. It was a bit too refined and thin for my tastes. We followed it up with another Chateauneuf, Domaine de Veille Lazaret. This wine fit our tastes much better. "

"Juicy, modern style, with mocha, blackberry, fig and boysenberry flavors mingling with tar and mineral notes. Firm finish has plenty of pure fruit for balance, and this gains steam in the glass too. Drink now through 2013. 6,700 cases made. –JM
