92 points "The 2005 Thomann Station displays a dark ruby opaque color and complex aromas of red and black fruit, game, loam, and black pepper. On the palate it offers juicy mouth filling black cherry fruit with, dark chocolate, pepper and earth notes. It is beautifully balanced with a long finish and a long life ahead. A terrific wine."

95 points "One of California’s premier Zinfandel producers, Robert Biale Vineyards also fashions outstanding Petite Sirahs and Syrahs. For example, their 2004 Petite Sirah Thomann Station boasts a black/purple color as well as an extraordinary bouquet of charcoal, melted chocolate, blackberries, blueberries, incense, and spring flowers, fabulous depth and richness, and full-bodied opulence. Loaded, but not heavy, its terrific definition, nearly endless finish, and remarkable purity suggest it can be drunk now or cellared for two decades. " Best 2007-2027
