This is one of the biggest, richest Coudoulets yet produced. A healthy dark ruby/purple color is followed by a full-bodied wine with notes of blackberries, raspberries, earth, minerals, and spice. Moderately tannic and pure. Wine Advocate

Full saturated ruby. Superripe aromas of cassis, black cherry, espresso and minerals. Dense, rich and sweet, with an intense spicy character and a note of espresso. Thoroughly ripe. Finishes with lush tannins and noteworthy length. Will be a great vintage for this bottling.
