92 points "So young but still so hard to keep my hands off these, my 2nd. Fantastic Noble Rot spice concentration, viscous mouthfeel, sweet long finish. Still primary but very open and GOOD."

93 points "Our tasting notes from the '05 Barrel Tasting said that it was 2nd only to d'Yquem, showing impeccable balance and great freshness length and acidity. W.S. also loved it saying "Loads of pear and honey character follow through to a full-bodied palate, with lots of spicy character and a sweet, long finish. Very, very spicy on the finish."

94 points "Tasted from the chateau reserves at the estate, once again the nose is very closed at first, faint touches of lemon rind, dried apricot and tangible mineralite that is far more prominent that exhibited on the ’08 or ’09. The nose is almost exactly the same as the bottle in October 2010, but this sample demonstrating more harmony and cohesion towards the finish. The Sauvignon Blanc is imparting hints of Green apple and gooseberry to counterbalance that rich botrytized fruit. Superb. Tasted February 2011." Best 2011-2030
