"Tasted by dgf32 on 1/6/2006 & rated 95 points: This is an amazingly dynamic wine and is unquestionably one of the greatest Brunellos I've ever had. The nose is explosive with notes of blackberry, tar, anise, mint, black cherry, and button mushrooms. The palate shows significant black cherry, blackberry, raspberry, pine. This wine has pure, unquestionable Sangiovese and Brunello character. The structure is serious, with strong acidity giving the wine incredible length on the palate. The finish is long, almost a minute, with strong Brunello character and notes of raisins and other dried fruits. (218 views)"
