"BH 90 (3/2001): (this too is very old vines planted on le vrai chardonnay) A real step up in intensity and even though the style and delivery are similar to the Vergers, the additional complexity and class are immediately evident. White flower fruit brimming with minerality is followed by superb flavor detail. Not especially dense but very fine with a rather dry palate sensation and excellent length. The acidity here is sneaky in that the wine appears forward on the midpalate and then tightens up on the finish. Pretty in the best sense."
