rated: November 7, 2006 , Winemaker's notes
"On the nose you'll find lots of cherry, cola, cinnamon vanilla, strawberry and raspberry combined with toasty oak, tobacco and a hint of new saddle leather. The striking palate exudes flavors of cherry, cranberry, cola and cinnamon supported by nice acidity and firm tannins."
rated: November 7, 2006 , Distributor's notes
"Some of the oldest plantings in Santa Barbara, his wines are gaining complexity with each passing vintage. There are intense aromas of immensely sweet red cherries and blueberries. Medium-bodied, it is packed with rich fruit. The blackberry, red cherry quality is mixed with Asian spices and cassis. - 90 points The Wine Advocate."
