"From The Wine Club: ARNOUX PERE ET FILS
2002 CHOREY-LES-BEAUNE
“LES CONFRELINS”
OUR PRICE $19.99
($228 Case)
We blew thru Arnoux’s
Bourgogne rouge and Blanc six
months ago and now we are
pleased to offer this beautiful
Chorey-les-Beaune. The team of
Michel & Remi Arnoux, and now
their nephew Pascal, are putting
this small domaine on the map.
Their philosophy of letting their
vineyards express themselves
along with as little invention as
possible has helped produced this
gorgeous, pure vineyard correct
wine. I particularly liked the
Chorey-les Beaune, which was
one of the best expressions I have
ever had from this commune.
Chorey-les-Beaune is between the
cities of Aloxe-Corton and Savigny
–les-Beaune and is typically not
know for its rich intense wines.
This wine is definitely an
exception. Ruby in color, with
aromas of morello cherries,
raspberries, minerals, fresh cut
herbs and spice. The wine is
generous and ample in the mouth
yet maintains the elegance of great
Burgundy. Because of the wines
well-balanced tannins and wellintegrated
acidity this wine will
drink effortlessly for the next
several years. Pair this beauty with
a variety of foods; roasted poultry,
grilled meats, game birds and soft
cheeses. This is worth a case purchase
today…get it while it lasts!!!
