"Dusted with nuances of dried herbs, this richly flavoured and finely balanced young cabernet has a violet-like fragrance of intense black and red berries backed by fresh cedar/vanilla oak. Its supple, polished palate of vibrant plum, berry and dark cherry flavour is framed by firmish, pliant and loose-knit tannin, finishing with length and persistence. Great value. Drink: 2012-2016+. Score - 92. (Jeremy Oliver, www.jeremyoliver.com.au, Nov. 14, 2007)

"Winemaker Andrew Wigan thinks it is the best Lehmann Cabernet he has made. For the money, it is very good indeed. Cassis, hint of Capsicum, cedar, chocolate, violets on the nose. The palate is medium/full bodied and I think it will come up a treat with 5 years in the cellar. A testiment to the 04 vintage for Cabernet in the Barossa. 91 points Anthony D'Anna"
