"concentration relative to that bottling. Solid fruit on the attack, a smooth, medium bodied finish, and a reasonable, but not incredibly intense finish. Very nice. (173 views) Tasted by Siggy on 5/13/2006 & rated 93 points: This was one of the best Turleys I've had to date. I'm starting to think that they need at least 4-5 years to settle down and integrate -- younger ones tend to come across as hot and overextracted. Deep maroon red. Rich, powerful blackberry fruit, pepper, and licorice. Good structure and balance. Medium to long finish. Very enjoyable. (345 views) "

82 points "A floral nose--but the mid-palate and finish are coarse and abrupt. Not a well balanced wine. "

3 stars "Sweeter nose than the Old Vines with more fruit but you can feel the 16% alcohol on the palate. Somewhat unbalanced because of the alcohol. May soften with some cellaring time."
