"Flowers, spices and apricots are found in the nose of the 1999 #9 Scheurebe Zwischen Den Seen Trockenbeerenauslese. Lovers of apricot jam will adore this hyper-concentrated, jellied offering. Its immense size and depth is gorgeously buttressed by zesty acidity. This wine is as thick as the United States Government's annual budget proposal. Drink it over the next 40+ years."

"Thick and sweet, yet backed by vivid acidity, this adds an herbal note to the caramel, dried fig and apricot flavors. It needs time to integrate the flavors with the structure. Fine, refreshing finish. Best from 2003 through 2015. 900 cases made. (BS)"
