"WS/Phenomenal nose, with complex smoky, tarry, licoricelike red fruit aromas. Full-bodied, with added tobacco and vanilla coming through on the palate, with silky tannins and a long, minerally finish. One of the best Chianti Classicos I've ever tasted. Best after 2005. 2,500 cases made. (JS)"
