rich and generous with alluring varietal
characters. Blackcurrent and chocolaty fruit
characters are in balance with the French and
american oak. Tannins are finely textured and
the wine finishes with an excellent burst of
flavour. The 2001 Thomas hyland Cabernet
Sauvignon reflects the quality of the vintage.

"The 2004 Thomas Hyland Cabernet is opulent and full, with sweet wild raspberry freshness and an underpinning chocolatey richness. A typically tight, but generous varietal fruit structure is immediately satisfying in the glass whilst promising very good medium term cellaring prospects. The finely grained tannins and carefully integrated oak lend complexity to a sustained finish. "
