"Color: deep; Nose: discreet; Aromas: spicy, tree fruit, red berry; Acidity: supple; Sweetness: dry; Body: medium-bodied; Finish: medium; Overall: pleasant; color: transparent ruby-maroon
nose: cherries, strawberry, plum, tobacco
taste: tannins, slightly off balance, not too much fruit, black pepper, green pepper, sour cherries. Nice easy drinking wine. Got better with some air and time but just ok."

"Gary Vaynerchuk scored this wine an 89, but his tasting notes are more revelatory: "COLOR-dark; NOSE-green peppers, tobacco; chili pepper coming through; little horse manure; black pepper; little cinnamon component; some strawberries; nice nose; TASTE-really New World mouthfeel on the attack; great brightness; sensational initially, then gets pretty dry; it's a young wine; great texture; great silkiness & length; roller coaster; I like the nice long finish; great bright fruit; a little light (disappearing a little); some nice structure; I like the dark black chocolate; a little Hot Dog pig-in-a-blanket action"
