"COLOR-medium golden; NOSE-a huge explosion of lemon Starburst candy; a little detergent component; beautiful graininess; pretty; TASTE-a beautiful lemon/citrus component; very focused & very rich; medium bodied; nice long finish; grainy w/ green tea; a seductive flavor profile; I love the creaminess of the weight; a silky Crème Fraîche component; the body weight of a classic Chardonnay, but the focused cleanness of a Sauvignon Blanc; tremendous complexity; this is an exceptional bottle; GV-91+"

"A sensational sleeper of the vintage, this medium to full-bodied blend of 55% Sauvignon Blanc and 45% Semillon exhibits notes of marmalade, nectarines, and waxy citrus-like notes (reminiscent of Laville Haut-Brion). Its excellent fruit, purity, and minerality suggest it should be consumed over the next 5-7 years. A beauty!"
