91 points "As for the 2001 Zinfandel Dogtown Vineyard, no one seems to “let the dogs out” better than Turley. This dense plum/ruby-colored Zinfandel possesses jammy aromas of black cherries and plums, followed by full-bodied, fleshy flavors with loads of fruit, glycerin, and pleasing tactile sensations. While not as complex as some of its siblings, it is a gorgeously seamless effort to drink over the next 5-7 years. " Best 2003-2010

85 points "Ultraripe but it stays in balance, with maraschino cherry, wild berry and huckleberry flavors that are appealing. Turns simpler on the finish, with a dash of tea. Drink now. (JL)" Best 2006-
