"The 2006 Cotes du Rhone Belleruche is a strong effort in this vintage from Michel Chapoutier. The wine is already delicious, showing notes of plum, black currant, and cherry in a straightforward, fruity style with good body and seductive aromatics. It is a blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah and should drink well for 4-5 years. (87-88)"

"Fresh and forward, with modest grip carrying the red currant and cherry fruit. There's a dash of toast on the finish. Drink now. 60,000 cases imported. –JM"
