"Pretty and up-front, but rather raw, simplistic and emasculated; a typical of this label. Deep, spicy aromas of dark berries and plums, cedar and chocolate oak precede a smooth, silky palate of moderate to full weight. Its confectionary expression of jujube-like sweet cassis fruit overlies a willowy chassis of genuine grip, but the oak is too forward. Give it a few years to build and integrate."
