"Color: deep; Nose: fragrant; Acidity: supple; Overall: easy; Original sip, vinturied. Not sure what I was expecting, but this bottle is very different from others. Fruity nose with a strong alcohol component. Reminds me of the blueberries/blackberries my mother used to ferment with sugar. Seems very port like, with a strong sugary, raisiny component without much acidic backbone. Still taste the oak as a strong component. Finish is actually fairly long. If the sweetness and overly fruity palate would subside with more secondary development, I might actually like the wine.
