"Turley’s Petite Syrahs are about as good as they get. The 2007 Petite Syrah Turley Estate is made from a clone that was taken from the Hayne Vineyard. It exhibits an inky/purple color as well as an extraordinary bouquet of incense, blueberry and blackberry liqueur, spring flowers, and wet stones. It is a dense, full-bodied, enormously endowed red that is best forgotten for 5-6 years, then drunk over the following three decades. (93-95)."
