"Severely oaked but excellent nonetheless, this is the kind of wine that makes 389 so beloved. There’s a cloud of vanillin oak, probably too much, but there’s also lots of herbal blackcurrant and blueberry fruit, with exquisite far-reaching tannins and flips of juicy acidity. Tight, flavoursome, and finishing with a push of bitter chocolate.
