92 points "Severely oaked but excellent nonetheless, this is the kind of wine that makes 389 so beloved. There’s a cloud of vanillin oak, probably too much, but there’s also lots of herbal blackcurrant and blueberry fruit, with exquisite far-reaching tannins and flips of juicy acidity. Tight, flavoursome, and finishing with a push of bitter chocolate. Rated : 92 Points Closure : Cork Drink : 2004-2012 " Best 2009-2012

92 points "Medium red-purple; clean, dark blackberry and blackcurrant fruit aromas are supported by the typical well-integrated oak; there is considerable depth to the black fruit and dark chocolate flavours of the palate, which finishes with fine tannins.
