"90 points from Robert Parker: "The 2005 Pinot Noir Holly’s Cuvee, which comes from the newer Dijon clones, is an earthy, sensual, hedonistic style of Pinot Noir with plenty of black cherries, forest floor, and a touch of background smoke. Drink it over the next 2-3 years." (Dec. 2008) The Holly's Cuvée blends fruit from Neely's Hidden Block (55%, Dijon clone 115) and Picnic Block (45%, clone 777) from the winery's dry-farmed, Santa Cruz Mountains holdings. Aged in 30% new French oak, this wine has the perfumed dark cherry elegance of the Dijon clone 115 and the dark fruit, forest floor notes and structure from the 777.
