90 points "Color: deep; Nose: complex; Aromas: spicy, woody, red berry, dried fruit; Acidity: supple; Sweetness: dry; Body: firm; Finish: medium; Overall: well balanced; I would not hold these any longer. Tannins are still grippy but the fruit is fading a tad, perhaps just a dumb phase?" Best 2006-

86 points "Full red with a faint purple edge. Spicy, floral, dusty and peppery aromas of fresh cassis, raspberry and red cherry, with restrained vanillin oak. Ripe, smooth palate combines prune and currant flavors from slightly stressed fruit with brighter notes of stewed plum and small dark berries. Uncomplicated, sweet and firm."
