87 points "Medium bodied, pleasant wine. Drinking well now. "
rated: February 23, 1998 , The Wine Advocate
89 points "Opaque purple-colored with penetrating scents of jammy black cherries, toasty new oak, Provencal herbs, and spice, this muscular 1996 provides copious quantities of red and black fruits on the attack, mid-palate, and finish. This thick, tannic, medium to full-bodied wine will require patience following bottling. Anticipated maturity: 2003-2015. This property has come of age now that it under the administration of Comte Stephan de Neipperg, the well-known proprietor of Canon-La-Gaffeliere, and more recently, the super-luxury micro-estate of La Mondotte." Best 2003-2015
