91 points "A blend from the oldest vines on the estate, which are between 50 to 100 years old: 35% Grenache, 35% Carignan, 15% Syrah, and 15% Lledoner Pelut. "The 2005 Cotes du Roussillon Villages Vieilles Vignes displays fresh blackberry and black raspberry fruit, along with crushed stone, scrubby herbal, and incense-like notes as well as a carnal, faintly gamey side...this offers a savory meld of the meaty and mineral to accompany the intense black fruit in its long finish. It should merit following for another 3-4 years." -Wine Advocate " Best 2009-2014
