"#39, 2009. Smooth and creamy, the polished texture supporting an explosive range of lemon meringue, pear, pineapple and spice flavors that ease into the long, vivid finish. Drink now through 2012. 1,500 cases imported"

"Yalumba The Virgilius Viognier 2008 [Eden Valley]
"I adore this wine. At a full degree of alcohol below its predecessor, it's poised and fine and focused. The bouquet leaps out of the glass with nuances of everything apricot - kernel, blossom and flesh, baked, dried and fresh! The palate is on another level, with a lemon blossom freshness and notes of guava and pomegranate. The structure of this wine is masterfully controlled, seamlessly balancing phenolics and acidity in perfect poise. This is the pinnacle of Australian Viognier and, I dare say, it could teach some things to Condrieu. ...BEST Viognier in the WORLD" Drink 2009-2011 / 95 points

"($19) Bright yellow-gold. Smoky, varietally accurate aromas of peach, apricot, pineapple, flowers and baking spices, plus a zesty kick of orange zest. Juicy citrus and tropical fruit flavors are nicely concentrated and brightened by notes of green cardamom and talc-y minerals. The orange note repeats on the finish, which is long, spicy and energetic. 90 points "
