"Tuscany, Italy. The Renzo Masi estate in the heart of Chianti Rufina owns 10 hectares of vineyards, under the direction of Dr. Paolo Masi. This Chianti Rufina Riserva is a terrific value from an excellent vintage. It is a blend of 93% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo and 2% Colorino. Renzo Masi Chianti Rufina is a deep ruby/garnet in color, with medium body and moderate acidity--mellow for Chianti. It offers plums and berries on the nose and flavors of plums, black currants, blackberries and spice, with no oak. The wine is full and round with soft tannins and a long, fruity, peppery finish. It was aged for 30 months before release. Enjoy Renzo Masi Chianti Rufina Riserva with lasagna, roast chicken, eggplant Parmesan and pizza. "
