"89 2003 Justin Justification
Bordeaux Blend, Paso Robles, $42
Starts off smelling very new-oaky, and as it airs, this Cab Franc-based wine turns aromatic in cherries, cassis, violets and lavender. It’s an interesting wine, a little hot, a little baked, but very dry. It’s also fairly tannic. The cherries, oak and tannins suggest a good grilled steak. — S.H. (9/1/2006)
