"The opaque purple-hued 2008 Syrah Las Colinas exhibits more black raspberry, black currant, licorice, and forest floor characteristics in its uplifted aromatics. Medium to full-bodied and fresh, it is not as dense as the 2007, but aromatically it is potentially more complex. It, too, should age effortlessly for a decade. (91-93)."
