"Medium to full red-purple; the cascading fruit of the bouquet runs through blackberry, blackcurrant, chocolate and a touch of prune; here, as on the palate, the mix of new French and American oak has been skilfully balanced and integrated. The palate is as voluptuous as you would expect, yet very well balanced, with sweet fine tannins. A mere four trophies and five gold medals to its credit.
