"The 2003 Gigondas Les Espalines is aged in small barrels, boasting a deep color, great concentration of fruit, and fine precision as well as delineation. A blend of 75% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre, and 5% Syrah, it exhibits plenty of blueberry, black currant, cherry, and dusty, powdered mineral notes along with a heady finish. It should drink well for a decade. (91-93)"
