Tasting Notes:

94 points "Color: bright; Nose: fragrant; Aromas: mineral, buttery, floral, citrus fruit; Acidity: lively; Sweetness: dry; Finish: persistent; Overall: elegant; Still going strong with the great nose of honeysuckle and citrus and a beautifully balanced similar flavor profile, with a butterscotch and pear mid-palate and crisp acidity on the finish. My very last bottle of this vintage, unfortunately." Best 2013-2014

94 points "94 WA The 2007 Chardonnay Cuvee Alyce is sensational. Named after Stephen Hansel’s recently deceased 90-year-old mother, the wine has admirable minerality, plenty of honeysuckle, hints of pear, white peach, and pineapple, a deep, full-bodied mouthfeel with subtle smokiness from oak, very good acidity, and a long, concentrated finish. This is likely to be the longest-lived of the Chardonnays and capable of lasting for up to 7-10 years. Rated 94+/100 by Robert Parker, Issue #180, December 2008 "
