"Color: deep; Nose: complex; Aromas: black berry; Acidity: supple; Sweetness: dry; Body: full-bodied; Finish: persistent; Overall: well balanced; Very satisfying, and probably at its peak. Dark berry fruits, tar from the extra time in oak. Beautifully rounded and with a long finish. Matched the richness of the lamb perfectly, and seemed to work best with chevre rather than hard cheeses. Sumptuous bouquet."
