"The spicy 2008 Pinot Noir La Neblina, which contains considerable whole clusters (stems), exhibits a more tannic structure along with loamy soil, underbrush, sweet and sour cherry, pomegranate, and plum characteristics. Its color is similar to the 2007's, with perhaps slightly more purple to the rim. The 2008 requires some aging. (89-91)."

"Medium ruby. Sexy, expressive aromas of dark berries, licorice, sassafras and smoky minerals. Juicy and tightly wound, even youthfully tangy, with a pliant structure and a restrained sweetness to the flavors of black raspberry, cherry preserves, minerals, rose and licorice pastille. Becomes spicier toward the back, finishing with silky tannins and impressive purity. This wine's lively fruit makes it enjoyable now."
