"Color: deep; Nose: complex; Aromas: herbal, spicy; Acidity: supple; Body: firm; Finish: medium; Overall: rich; Flavors of licorice and spicy raspberries are what this baby are all about. It is sad that Seghesio is no longer producing this wine in order to concentrate on the "Venom." This wine will be sorely missed. The nose is of violets and smoke with a spicy oak scent underlying the floral and fruit aromas. This was an excellent pairing with dinner this evening and again I find myself wishing that there were more bottles in the cellar."
